Football & Basketball
During his four years at Waubonsie Valley, Paul Blalock competed in football all four years (2001-2004), basketball all four years (2001-2005), and track one year (2002). In addition, Paul was also Senior class president, homecoming king and held office in student council for three years.
In basketball, Paul was a three-year varsity starter where his teams held a 65-18 record, 2 Regional Championships, and a Conference Championship.
In football, Paul was a three-year varsity starter and was a three-time All-Conference selection at quarterback. Paul’s senior year he was named: all region – Super Prep & Prep Star, all state by Champaign News Gazette, all state by Illinois High School Coaches Association, all State special mention by Chicago Tribune, and named the Naperville Sun player of the year. Paul’s Senior season he passed for 2,130 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a three-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He was ranked as the 26th best athlete in the state of Illinois by rivals and ranked the nation’s 30th best quarterback by Rivals.com and 46th by Scout.com. Today, after seventeen years, Paul still holds the following school records:

During Paul’s college career he competed at the University of Illinois 2005-2006 and from 2007-2009, he competed at Northern Illinois University where he received his BS in Communication. Paul then went on to receive his law degree from University of Wisconsin.
Paul Blalock has serviced his community by being active in big brother, assistant football coach for middle school boys in Davenport, Iowa. He has also volunteered his time with special needs students in Los Angeles, worked with an agency for battered and abused women, and volunteered time at hospice center in Davenport, Iowa and San Diego, California. As a Lawyer, he has also done a variety of pro bono work for the communities in which he lived. Paul has worked as a legal counsel for John Deere, University of California, San Diego Medical, and NBC. Paul Blalock currently lives in New York and is a Lawyer for the National Football League.
